Occasional case reports suggest that Ubidecarenone may influence the INR (International Normalised Ratio) of persons on warfarin anticoagulant therapy. Thus care should be taken when giving Bio-Quinone Q10 100 mg to patients taking warfarin or coumarin preparations. Bio-Quinone Q10 can be taken in such patients, but extra control of INR before, during, and after treatment with Ubidecarenone is recommended.
A randomized, controlled study of the influence of Bio-Quinone Q10 100 mg on coagulation function in persons on stable warfarin therapy did not observe a significant effect on INR or the warfarin dosage required.
Effect on ability to drive and use machinery: Bio-Quinone Q10 100 mg does not affect a person's ability to drive a motor vehicle or operate machinery.
